Physics 1, Thermodynamics + Electromagnetism - two days

DKK 899.00
Coming soon

The Physics 1 crash course (Thermodynamics + Electromagnetism) is a two day course which provides the student with the tools necessary to tackle many exam type physics problems. It takes place from 9:00 to 16:00, on the 22nd and 23rd of November. The course includes two teaching days in person, a booklet with condensed information about all the covered topics, as well as more preparation exercises to be used at home. The topics covered during this crash course include:

  • Energy transformation between mechanical, thermodynamical, and electromagnetic systems

  • Ideal gas

  • Calculation on microscopic properties of molecules

  • First and second law of thermodynamics

  • Thermodynamic processes (isochor, isobar, isothermal, and adiabatic processes)

  • Work and heat transfer

  • Electric charge, field, potential and magnetic field

  • Lorentz force

  • Faraday’s law of induction

  • Electric and magnetic forces

During the first day, the tutors will show how to solve by hand typical exam questions exercises which cover the first half of the subjects in the crash course. The student will gain insight on how to approach each question, as well as tips to speed up the solving process.

The second day focuses on the second half of the subjects with typical exam exercises. The student will be given the steps to understanding and solving each exercise seen in the crash course.
