Introduction to programming - two days
The Introductory Programming crash course is a two day session which covers all notions in programming necessary to pass an engineering introduction to programming course in python. It takes place from 9:00 to 16:00, on the 13th and 14th of December. The course includes two teaching days in person, a booklet with condensed information about all the covered topics, as well as more preparation exercises to be used at home.
During the first day, the tutors will go through the following topics:
Variable types
Working with lists
Working with arrays and matrices
String handling
Classes
if / elif / else conditions
For and while loops
Recursions
and will introduce the students to simple exercises. The second day, the students will focus on solving typical medium to hard exam questions, with coding sessions where the students can ask questions to the tutors. All exercises seen during the crash course will be analyzed and solved by the tutors.
